Amar Mukhtar Tofa is a highly motivated and dedicated Radiographer with over six years of professional experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He graduated with a Bachelor of Radiography from Bayero University Kano (BUK) in 2019 and has worked at Excellent Diagnostic and Cardiology Clinic, and Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH), for the past three years, gaining extensive clinical experience across various imaging modalities and specialized radiological procedures.

He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Ultrasound and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Ultrasound to further strengthen his expertise in diagnostic imaging and patient care.

His experience spans general radiography, trauma and emergency imaging, mobile and ward radiography, theatre radiography, fluoroscopic examinations, computed radiography (CR), and advanced computed tomography (CT) - including coronary CT angiography, CT angiography, and other contrast-enhanced examinations. His expertise covers patient preparation, contrast administration support, image acquisition, protocol and radiation dose optimization, image quality assessment, and post-procedure patient monitoring.

He also has practical experience assisting in a wide range of interventional radiology procedures alongside interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, as well as theatre radiography providing intraoperative imaging support during orthopaedic, urological, and general surgical procedures. He is adaptable, dependable, and committed to continuous professional development, evidence-based practice, and the highest ethical and professional standards in radiography.
